Required Identification

Any individual planning to have their signature notarized MUST HAVE valid and current government-issued photo identification. Expired or temporary IDs will not be accepted.

Service will be refused without valid, current photo identification

- State Driver's License

- State Non-Driver ID

- Senior State ID

- U.S. Passport

- Foreign Passport w/ Stamp

Name(s) printed under signature line(s) must be the SAME or SHORTER than name on identification.

Document to be notarized must be COMPLETE with NO BLANK SPACES, except for signature/date lines and area with notary language, if present on document. Notarization will be refused for incomplete documents.

Current notary language is available for Acknowledgments HERE and for Jurats HERE. If the required wording is not included on the document to be signed, Notary Public will have necessary forms to attach. Signers MUST tell the notary which they need - notary WILL NOT advise signer on which form to use.

Jurats MUST be signed in the presence of the notary public. Acknowledgments may be signed in advance.
